Hosta Days!

The Dutch Hosta Society's stand at this years "tuinideebeurs",Garden Idea Fair, February 25th to the 28th in Den Bosch was a great success! The volunteers answered numerous questions about slugs and snails! There was only one question that wasn't about that! It was an invitation to attend another gardening event! Even Hostas and information about the use of garlic extract in Sri Lanka were exchanged!
The preparations started back in December 2015. To get a few grown Hostas ready for the display gardens and to liven up the stand, pots of dormant Hostas were then brought inside a greenhouse tunnel to grow! It sure was appreciated by all the visitors during this four day event! Our location was perfect! The teams of volunteers from around The Netherlands greeted visitors and chatted about our favorite plant! The friendship plant!
The next Hosta event is this Saturday, March 5th! Hosta master Class and AGM! See you there!
