First half of this Summer was sunny and warm !

Record breaking temperatures and water levels dropping! 

That changed this week with cooler temps 

and a few light showers here and there.

You can almost here the sighs of relief !

You know it's really dry at Het Gazebo

when the irrigation system gets turned on ! 

Het Gazebo is a great place to meet up with friends 

and enjoy strolling the paths through this abstract Hosta leaf !

 

The dry warm weather continues !

It's dry ! 29 C ! Code amber, warm weather protocol !

So the volunteers tried their best to stay in the shade !

It's so dry. Most hostas have finished flowering.

Feels like mid August in a hosta garden !

But there are a few that look gorgeous !

Great job trying to keep ahead of the weeds !

if you skip a week you will really notice it !

The volunteers had a cooler, overcast morning at Het Gazebo !

and the slightest bit of rain, 22 C :)

There was enough to do !

The results are great to see !

Most of the hostas are flowering !

While some are the later flowering kind !
