There was rain yesterday !

As predicted, Het Gazebo had its first rainfall after about 40 days !

Rain sure brings out the best in hostas and blooms !

28 C, the longest day of the year and visitors stopping by

with positive compliments ! 

Coffee and Dutch apple pie really hits the spot !

After a very wet Spring things dried out very quickly !

It was time to turn on the sprinklers this year ! It's only June !

With temperatures warming up even more later this week

and with no rain in sight it was a smart move to 

invest in the onderground irrigation system at Het Gazebo ! 

 

Het Gazebo is ready for Summer !

After a very wet Spring May ended warm and sunny !

 But that didn't stop the weeds !

Here you see how the volunteers get the weeding done !

All of a sudden they grew !

Hostas are sure growing and enjoying

the wettest Spring they've seen ! 

The weeds as well! 

Thanks to the volunteers maintaining Het Gazebo,

keeping it weed free,

so we can walk the paths that represent the veins !

 

 

The visitors are back !

It's the second week of the two week May vacation in The Netherlands !

It was a pleasant surprise for  the cycling tourists 

that stopped by at Het Gazebo when they climbed the look out!

A frosty night quickly warmed to 16 C today !

The hostas are getting bigger by the day !
