Hello from a very rainy day at Het Gazebo !

Even when the volunteers are not using their tools,

 the tools are still in use !

Looking forward to our new shelter !

 

Hasn't been this warm since June !

Thermometer reading 26 C today in Diepenheim ! 

Cool nights, warm days ! Hasn't rained in over a week!

We had to test the irrigation system at Het gazebo !

It's September ! Updates from Het Gazebo !

A rainy Sunday afternoon didn't stop the Reopening garden party!

The second part of the programme was held at Het Gazebo 

where the new sheltered picnic table

 with memorial plaque for Frans de Steur was unveiled.

 Compliments from the visitors! Het Gazebo made a great impression !

Thanks to all the volunteers !

After Sunday's garden party it was back to weeding Wednesday !

September ! The weeds seem to be slowing down :)

But is wasn't a slow day !

A photographer from the local paper Tubantia stopped by.

Must have heard about the garden party ?

And as a token of appreciation, Therese Mulkers

gave a signed work of art by Urbain Mulkers

to this great group of volunteers who have been 

doing a wonderful job looking after Het Gazebo !

Autumn is in the air ! A warm weekend ahead !
