Warmest June in 132 years !

June here in The Netherlands was wet, 

sunny and the warmest in 132 years !

An overcast, dreary, high of 15 C today.

It's a good thing we can look back

 over the last few blog posts and check 

when we had those very warm days !

What a day to be weeding and splitting hostas!

These weather conditions are perfect for hostas !

We sure can enjoy the results !

It must have been quite a muddy day!

10 degrees cooler that last week !

A high of 19 C today in Diepenheim :)

And rain the last few days makes for perfect weeding conditions !

Summer in The Netherlands :)

The beech trees surrounding Het Gazebo

 are also getting a trim today !

Wonderful to see the weekly Wednesday weeding 

volunteers still keeping at it :)

Warm Summer weather continues !

28 C by noon in Diepenheim !

All that hard work planning and digging in the new irrigation system

earlier this year is now being used and enjoyed at Het gazebo !

A beautiful stop in the Summer if you are visiting by car or by bike  !

The Summer weather continues !

Wow !  

27 C in Diepenheim and the volunteers showed up :)

Lots of  Hosta flower buds are starting to bloom !

These atrract loads of bumble bees through out the Summer !

Green ! The hostas look great !

 and a sad green of hostas that were just recently vanadlized.

By this afternoon it was 30  C in the sun !
