We had a great location! Mostly shade! Will be 25C at the Fair!
With such fantastic summer weather a lot of people came to the Fair! We were kept busy! It's fun to help out at such an event! What one hears about when visitors talk about Hostas and slugs makes me smile! We answered a lot of questions! And talked alot! I wish all the Hosta gardeners that visited our booth a slug free 2013!Our Hosta booth was filled with a variety of beautiful, potted Hostas! H. Holy Mouse Ears stole the show! Everyone who stopped by wanted to have one!
Visitors couldn't keep their hands of these leaves!
Many said that they had "this one"!
This caught my eye! Loved it last year at Trompenburg!
H. June was a favourite as well at the Fair!
H. Blue Mouse Ears
It was fun to see how much it has grown since 2009!
At the end of the day, and after the last visitors had left, we started to pack up! After today, The Dutch Hosta Society has two more new faces and many more Hosta enthusiasts! Being part of the Bos & Burcht Fair in Oostvoorne was a great way to promote Hostas and The Dutch Hosta Society!
Everything has to go back it the car! Then back home!
How many Hostas can you get in one auto?!
Look what was waiting at home! The new Hosta magazine!
28C today! Think I'll sit amongst the Hostas in the shade and read!
