Hosta plans for September !

We have had the warmest Summer in 300 years!

But there are still a few Hosta activities to do!

The Dutch Hosta Society hosts their September garden tour
Saturday the first of September 

is in the Dutch province of Noord Brabant! 

Gardens in Maarheeze and Cranenedonck!

Het Gazebo managed to get through the heat wave

and 300 mm less rainfall than what normally falls !

Looking pretty good for the first half of the day!

Het Gazebo and Monomet had a visit from Mrs. Mulkers today!

Is was wonderful to hear Mrs. Mulkers share a few 

special moments about Mr. Urbain Mulkers!

We were each presented with the book Urbain Mulkers!

By the end of the afternoon

 Het Gazebo and Monomet were weed free!

We're back on Wednesday,  the 19th of September!

Hostas and Garlic !

A great selection of hostas and French smoked garlic is in!

Get it while it lasts! The garlic is for eating! Tastes great!

Summer in The Netherlands!

Warmest July 26th on record! The warmest night after that!

A heat wave! 36 C yesterday! A cooler, 25C today!

The last open hosta days at Hosta Paradise this weekend!

Even Hosta plantaginea 'Grandiflora' is in boom!

A few familiar faces! A few new hostas!

See you there next year!

 The volunteers! The hostas! And the weeds at Het Gazebo!

"You could probably fry an egg on it!" It was that warm!

 A bit of shadow, lots of weeds at the start of the day!

Big smiles and a lot less weeds at the end of the day!
