 Saturday, May 27th! What a gorgeous sunny day!

The traffic this holiday long weekend was the busiest!

Everybody out and and about looking for Summer fun!

 Shade! That's what hosta's like!

The Dutch Hosta Society kept their cool!

Here,  at the Pinetum in Hilversum!

And here, Bos & Burcht Fair in Oostvoorne!

The biggest garden fair in the South West!

Hosta talk, familiar faces and fun at both!

June is next! Summer garden tour for members!

At Het Gazebo!

Wood chips and weeding today!

Work has also been started....

 on the look out platform !

A hard working crew has that job covered! 

  And Het Gazebo Work Party went to work too!

 Much nicer that a red carpet any day!

Coffee time! 28C! No Hot Chocolate today!

 The sun was warm, the wind too!

 Good thing hostas grow in the shade!

 Hosta seedlings are a " Het Gazebo Surprise"!

 Lunch! Always enjoyed by all! Outside of course!

Dutch raisin bread was a treat indeed!

 Weeded, wood chipped and ready for rain!

 You always wanted a hosta in the round, 

higher in the back, shorter in the front!

The Easter Bunny visited Het Gazebo! 

We didn't find melted Easter eggs but big Lindt chocolate bunnies!

Another dry, sunny, warm, cloudy, cold windy Spring day!

The coffee/hot chocolate break was enjoyed outside!

A few hostas were noticeably affected by the frost! 

Slugs of the strangest kind are showing up at Het Gazebo! 

 Lots of great news, real news at Het Gazebo today!

1. The viewing platform will soon be built!

The big reveal is coming! Planned for this Summer!

2. Het Gazebo has received a generous donation!

Hostas can be ordered! Fill the gaps where hostas once were!

And 3! New signage for all the gardens

found through out Diepenheim! 

Oh, yes! The volunteers did a lot of weeding!

Dandelions! (paardenbloem) Taraxacum officinale!

just to let you know...according to Wikipedia...

 Taraxacum officinale is native to Europe and Asia,^[30] 

and was originally imported to America as a food crop

Het Gazebo work party enjoyed their first visit of 2017!

Friends, Sunshine, 15C! Coffee enjoyed outside!

We're having fun! And we're prepared!

The Dandelions had a rough day! They were weeded out!
