Het Gazebo Hosta Summer !

The Dutch Summer weather continues !

And so does the weeding at Het Gazebo !

The team enjoyed coffee with fresh baked courgette cake

for their coffee break ! What a treat !

A beautiful location to spend a few hours !

Even the slugs choose their hostas carefully !

Summer in Diepenheim has its moments !

The Wednesday morning Weeding volunteers had couple of dry hours !

By 40 mm of rain last week !

The hostas are growing ,  so are the weeds !

Wow ! All that compost is working its magic !

This time for heat and thunder showers !

What a way to end a heat wave !

Diepenheim reached 35 C today !

The volunteers kept to the national  hitteplan 

" when it's too warm we know what to do " plan 

Rain expected this evening !

I see the butternut squash is flowering !

as well as the hostas !

After this evenings Summer rain storms

tomorrow will be a cool 23 C !
